This book intended to immortalize the rise of the Japanese pornographic industry through more than 800 photos. Araki shows the pimps and clients of the Shinjuku district of Tokyo until the February 1985 decree for the control and improvement of new entertainment industries which caused the closure of the majority of naughty places in the Japan.
Mirrors on the walls, rumpled sheets, cages, orgies, servitude and moans make up these last bacchanalian images, tinged with humor and poetry.
