This book is from the “Infrared Photography Series” published and sold by Plaza Publishing and Sakura Shobo in the 1980s and 1990s. Although the photographer’s credit is not written, it is considered to be an illustration by Ikko Kagari from the viewpoint of the photographs and contents included. In the early 1980s, he acquired an infrared camera by coincidence. Since then, he has earned name of “Magician of the Darkness” Kōhei Yoshiyuki’s Document Park / The Park has held a solo exhibition in New York, and Document Commuting Train by Ikko Kagari has also been featured in The Photobook: A History by Martin Parr and Gerry Badger
