Red is the inaugural photo book by renowned Japanese rope artist Hajime Kinoko.
It showcases Kinoko’s innovative approach to kinbaku, the traditional art of Japanese rope bondage, by immersing his subjects in vivid red hues against minimalist white backdrops.
The book features previously unpublished photographs, behind-the-scenes glimpses of red-themed sessions, and documentation of the exclusive three-day Red exhibition held in Jinbocho.

Due to its limited print run and the impact it had on the shibari community, Red sold out rapidly.
