Olivia of the Sea is a photo book by Japanese photographer Akira Tateishi (1930-2021). Tateishi, was a pioneer of underwater cameraman, which work convey the beauty of the sea. He created the diving magazine Marine Diving at the beginning of the 70s.
Tateishi found new discoveries in the image of a woman swimming freely in the sea.
He published three books of underwater nude photos. Olivia of the Sea is the first one.
