Yoji Kuri is a well-known Japanese cartoonist, independent filmmaker, and pioneer of Japanese animation.
Opening the Kuri Experimental Manga Studio in 1958, he soon became an influential and leading figure in early Japanese animation.
This catalog has been published for the exhibition Oh!! Kuri-Po held at the Ginza Sony Building from March 26 to April 3, 1971
It offers a fine retrospective of what Yoji Kuri had already created since the early 60s and features a selection of drawings as well as many photographs of Yoji at work.
