Born in Akita Prefecture in 1950, Akira Ishigaki moved to Tokyo at the age of 20 and worked as a nude photographer since the late 70s. A collection of bondage photographs “Odd Fruits” published in the early 80’s received a strong response from overseas, and held a solo exhibition in New York.

Akira Ishigaki became, in addition to acting as a director of Nikkatsu’s bondage film, a prominent artist in the subculture field, including the work of the punk rock band “The Stalin” led by Michirou Endo.

Part of the Koibitachi series that depicts sexy women and spy camera techniques, this photo book brings together his photographs published in the early 1980s

A rare book that leads to Kohei Yoshiyuki and Ikko Kagari, who gained their name with infrared strobes.
