SM illustrator Yoji Muku produced only three photobooks — all ultra-rare. Kinbaku no Hada is the most haunting, with photographs that were most likely used as models for his drawings.
His controversial style must be re-contextualized within 1970s Japan.
As in his illustrations, the images evoke innocence, resignation, and sadness, making this volume both unsettling and unique — a cornerstone of underground SM publishing.
In respect of age restrictions, we present only a safe and minimal preview, with some parts intentionally hidden.
