ジャップ Magazine was a niche Japanese publication that ran for 21 issues. Initially titled ジャップ in Japanese (Jap Magazine in English), it was rebranded as Zyappu from issue 12 onward to reach a wider audience.
Led by photographer Izima Kaoru (New Beauty, Colored Beauty), the magazine embraced artistic and high-concept themes, positioning itself as an avant-garde alternative to mainstream publications.
Despite its bold vision, distribution remained limited to select Tokyo bookstores, and it struggled with sales.

After five years, Zyappu ceased publication in 1999, cementing its status as a cult classic in 1990s Japanese art and fashion.
