Osamu Kanemura studied photography at the Image Forum Video Research Institute and the Tokyo College of Photography. In 1996, he was selected as one of the six photographers in the world at the MoMA exhibition.  The following year, he received the Photographic Society of Japan New Artist Award, the 13th Higashikawa Award for New Artist, and in 2000, he was the second youngest in history to receive the 19th Domon Ken Award. This book is a collection of photographs published in 2001 that won the Domon Ken Award. A number of illustrations of everyday landscapes of ordinary cities that everyone has seen.
