Dancing Girls (Odoriko) is Takamasa Inamura’s definitive photo book, published as the 14th volume in the Sonorama Shashin Sensho series.
This collection spans two eras—intimate portraits of dancers from 1948-1954, including the legendary Gypsy Rose, and a behind-the-scenes look at Japanese music hall performers in 1976.
Originally exhibited at Nikon Gallery, Ginza (1976), these images were later compiled into this volume.
