A rare two-volume set by Nobuyoshi Araki, described as a “grand lyric poem of life and death.” Shot in the 1970s–1980s and first published in Shashin Jidai, the works revisit memory, eros, and decay.
In Blue Period (青ノ時代), Araki bleaches his photographs into ethereal blue visions of solitude; Last Summer (去年の夏) radiates sensual warmth, capturing fleeting beauty and time’s passage.
Originating from Arakinema, his early 1980s multimedia performances, the pair forms one of Araki’s most introspective creative cycles.

A beautifully produced set, rarely found complete.
