Antonio Lopez (1943-1987) is a Puerto Rican fashion illustrator. During his short career, he worked for numerous fashion publications and magazines and is recognized as a major illustrator of the second half of the 20th century.
In 1969, he left New York for Paris where he met Karl Lagerfeld who lent him an apartment. He stayed there for seven years and lived with model Jerry Hall. A regular at Studio 54, a friend of Warhol, he created illustrations for Interview in the mid-1970s, upon his return to New York with Juan Ramos.
