DUNE was a fashion and art Japanese magazine with only 33 issues were published over 15 years (1993 to 2008)
The editor-in-chief was Fumihiro Hayashi who actively engaged and promoted designers, artists and photographers.

This issue is the cult first issue, and is a collaboration with many artists, including a Vanessa Paradis interview (The Loneliness of Million Dollar Baby), Claudia Schaefer interview, a portrait of Rie Miyazawa by Kei Ogata, features on Kate Moss and Winona Ryder, photographs by Nan Goldin, and so on.

Dune has become an increasingly rare cult fashion magazine.
