Avant-garde artist Ushio Shinohara, nicknamed “Gyu-chan” for his Mohawk-cropped looks, devoted himself to action painting. He was also a founding member of Neo Dada in Japan.
This punkish book is a collage of photographs, text, drawings, and other materials describing his own path as he ran alongside the craziness of the 1960s and 1965s.
The cover is a “lenticular” cover that reflects in seven colors, which was just developed at the time.

Our copy is the 1968 first edition. Rare
